Résumé :
Abstract: Based on the recent achievements of Translab/UnB in machine learning and application, this talk reports the latest research and development of artificial intelligence (AI). This topic mainly involves the theoretical research of machine learning and the applications of artificial intelligence in multimodal information processing and air transportation: (a) from Once Learning to Few-shot learning in multimodal information processing using Convolution Neural Networks based methods and Transformer based methods, (b) Use transfer learning to classify the unstructured long texts with small amounts of tagged data from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) of Brazil; (c) Modeling Monte Carlo Tree Search (MCTS) method for conflict detection and resolution (CD&R) in four-dimensional trajectory-based combat (TBO).
Bio: Dr. Li Weigang is a professor, coordinator of TransLab and chair (2018-2022) of the Department of Computer Science (CIC) at the University of Brasilia (UnB), Brazil. In 1994, he received a Ph.D. degree from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA), Brazil. Currently, he is an IEEE senior member and a researcher from Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). His main research interests include Artificial Intelligence and its applications such as Intelligent Air Transportation and multimodal information processing with machine learning.
